Arapahoe Sertoma Foundation

Welcome to the Arapahoe Sertoma Foundation Page of this website. Our Foundation was established in 1988 to continue the charitable work of the Arapahoe Sertoma Club beyond the life span of members who pass away.

Donations to our Foundation are kept separate from the Clubs other funds in the “corpus.” Your donation will provide perpetual funding because it is only the proceeds from the interest that the corpus generates that can be used for funding charitable requests.

Donations are accepted in the name of any individual who is to be memorialized by sending funds to the President of the Foundation, currently R. Timothy Pollak, at the Club’s mailing address (P.O. Box 38, Englewood, CO 80151).

Requests for charitable funding to be reviewed and passed on by the Foundation Trustees can be submitted in writing to the above address. Please include with your request a brochure of the organization you are requesting funds to go to, the amount you wish to be donated and the purpose the requested amount is to be used for.

The current Foundation Trustees are:

Glenn Combellick
Phil Grimm
Scott Manley
Carl Duncan
Tim Pollak
In keeping with the overall mission of Sertoma International, to support the work of speech and hearing programs, requests for such funding is given precedence. Individuals in need of funding support for hearing aids and other assistive devices are also given precedence. However, the Foundation has long had a policy of helping to fund any local, worthwhile cause and it has a long history of considering a wide variety of requests. Please, also think of us as a source of scholarship funding for individuals who are pursuing graduate degrees in Speech Therapy or Audiology.

All of the Trustees of the Arapahoe Sertoma Foundation are dedicated to the growth of the Foundation and the support of Sertomas’ efforts to provide financial support for charitable causes, so please thinking of our organization when the need for such funding arises, or when you wish to make tax deductible donations to help support community charitable efforts.
