Guests:   Rod Combellick, son of Glenn.   Scott brought his wife Cathy and a couple friends:  Dave Bone, John Gamble & Jake Schild (think I spelled them correctly).
Rev. Robinson introduced his LSC Angila Graves.

Fines:    Scott for bringing his wife to lunch on their anniversary (not really)

Announcements:  Last week was kind of a bust with the snow storm, about 12 members showed up for lunch.  The program cancelled because he had to come from Erie.  Rick Campbell did get my call to come and be the SOD so that worked out okay.  Since there was so much food left over, one of the member invited some of the folks from the Elks to come and help eat the food.

This week had a lot better turnout and a great program.  Our newest member, Mike Makaroff got his picture taken with the President so I guess that makes it about official.  Welcome Mike, to bad your sponsor didn’t make it to shake your hand.

Cindy Markham attended the meeting and she gave a great update as to what’s going on with Sertoma.  She also gave an update on the Field of Dreams and thanked us for our donation last year.  She also invited everyone over for a Super Bowl Party to be held at So. Glenn CC.  Just have to bring an appetizer.

Feb 14 Foundation meeting after lunch

Sertoman of the Day:   no SOD due to program.

Program:   Randy Smith introduced Zach Zells of Modern Audiology Lakewood.  Zach is the Dr. that took over Randy’s practice when he retired.  Zach is an excellent speaker and explained about everything there was to explain about hearing problems and how to correct it or at least, improve it.

In February 2017, Randall Smith joined forces with Zachary Zells to create Modern Audiology. The practice, founded in 1990 under the name Lakewood Hearing Center, was relocated to the Academy Park Professional Building in an effort to deliver a truly exceptional hearing healthcare experience with upfront and transparent pricing.

When it comes to hearing healthcare, Modern Audiology has every aspect of care covered, from diagnosis to treatment.

At Modern Audiology, we’re dedicated to providing the highest level of medically-oriented diagnostic and treatment services for hearing. Our Doctor of Audiology will evaluate the patients’ hearing range, and if necessary, help them select from a wide variety of hearing technology and assistive listening devices.
